This blend was developed specifically for the 2017 East Canada Barista Competition in Toronto. The foundation is 50% washed Kenyan SL28, SL34 and Ruiru 11, a Kathakwa AA microdot from the Kibugu FCA in the Embu region of Kenya. Balanced with a dry processed Mokasida from Ethiopia, Colombian washed Castillo beans from Silveria Fram in the Santander region. Finished with just the right amount of Indian Kappi Royale.

Tasting Notes

An overall rich chocolaty mouthfeel with a fruity burst of berry sweetness. It exudes a natural cocoa creaminess with sugary grape notes. Good body, smoothness and rich lasting crema when extracted as an espresso
